‘Game of Thrones’ AI: What About Drogon?

The team at Stickboy was so dismayed at the loss of Rhaegal last week, that we wanted to know the fate of Drogon — who was not seen sipping out of the coffee cup that appeared on set. So we turned to our artificial intelligence to find out. What do you think?

Felix Lluberes and Matt Bernhardt invest in AI for the future of digital marketing

FORT MYERS — Felix Lluberes has joined Vectra Digital, an award-winning high-tech marketing firm in Fort Myers.
“We joined forces to lead in the digital marketing arena as we spearhead innovation by leveraging the benefits of artificial intelligence,” says Matt Bernhardt, CEO and managing partner of Vectra Digital. “Felix’s involvement carries significant weight because of his longtime successful endeavors in IoT, B2B, B2C, and technology-related ventures. Having someone of Felix’s caliber is exciting for us. He’s a powerhouse.”
Vectra Digital sets itself apart from other marketing companies in Florida and nationwide because of its use of a proprietary AI-based marketing platform called Ada.
Using the latest in big data analytics and machine learning, Ada analyzes thousands of lines of data streaming in to best optimize a campaign for maximum ROI based on algorithms that are unique to the client.
The latest upgrade to Ada features a reputation management platform that takes thousands of clients’ reviews, social posts, and comments from all locations and detects customer sentiment across different parameters. The proprietary data collection engine also gathers the same insights for clients’ competition.
“This innovative approach is critical to business owners and franchises as they are challenged to manage hundreds of locations,” says Lluberes. “This not only helps gauge current market placement but also assists in key business decision making. Digital marketing plays a critical part of any business serious about brand exposure and massive client outreach, and Ada is a game changer. Ada allows all businesses to leverage cutting-edge AI technology, big data analytics, and machine learning without the extreme cost usually associated with these platforms. Businesses taking advantage of AI and machine learning are going to have the upper hand.”
Bernhardt and Lluberes also are investors at The Ignite Partners, a technology and business advisory firm in Fort Myers.

Stickboy’s AI Correctly Predicting Fate of Characters in ‘Game of Thrones’ So Far

Stickboy Creative has been watching “Game of Thrones” after creating an artificial intelligence platform to predict the fate of popular characters.
So far, we are 100% correct!
How are your predictions?

Experiments in Artificial Intelligence:
Stickboy Makes ‘Game of Thrones’ Predictions

The innovative minds at Stickboy Creative in Fort Myers, FL, have developed an AI to generate predictions about your favorite “Game of Thrones” characters! Will your favorite character be dead or alive at the end of GoT Season 8? See what our deep-learning model thinks along with predictions from the Stickboy development team.

AI Data Profile

  • Characters Profiled: 916
  • Book Pages Analyzed: 4,244
  • TV Episodes Analyzed: 67
  • Total Result Confidence: 70%

How We Did It

The Stickboy team fed the AI extensive character and plot data to profile the various GoT characters. This data set was piped through a K-Mean clustering algorithm to group characters (both living and dead) based on perceived patterns and traits. These groups were then fed into a Bayesian inference algorithm to determine the probability of a character dying prior to the close of Season 8. The final AI model was tested against known dead and known living characters to generate predictions and confidence scores.

You Versus The AI

Stickboy Creative building custom software for soil moisture probes

FORT MYERS — Agtech company BMP Logic has teamed up with award-winning custom software company Stickboy Creative in Fort Myers to create cutting-edge soil probe software to help farmers dramatically conserve water and energy resources in near real time.

“Combining custom software with our soil probes will give growers a complete package,” says Doug Crawford, co-founder of BMP Logic. “We’ve worked with the team at Stickboy Creative to ensure growers will be getting secure moisture, salinity, and temperature data from their fields to their phones in easy-to-read charts in a timely manner.”

BMP Logic will use blockchain technology connected to sensors on soil probes to securely keep track of water and fertilizer usage. This tokenized data will be able to provide highly accurate irrigation history, trends, automation, and predictive analysis to farmers and water conservation organizations in a simple interface that shows growers when and how much to water. Farmers also will receive alerts via text message and email — and a map will show pings from the probes to show their location.

“BMP Logic clients will be able to gather raw data from the ground and use it in a way that will easily help farmers farm smarter,” says Bryant Jackson, Head of Software Development at Stickboy Creative. “Being able to optimize the efficiency of watering crops while also allowing the grower to reduce stress on crops from over- or under watering is an exciting use of technology. This technology will be white-labeled for BMP Logic and designed to support multiple types of probes for the optimal user experience.”

The outcome translates to higher profits for farmers while also helping to conserve water, which is BMP Logic’s company mission.

Long gone will be the days of sending workers out to the fields to check moisture levels for various crops.

Justin Jones, co-founder of BMP Logic, grew up on watermelon and tobacco farms and worked for the University of Florida as the Research Coordinator of Nutrient Management Programs.

“We did not have this technology growing up — or at the University of Florida,” he says. “It would have made everything so much easier. God gave us these beautiful resources — we need to use them responsibly.”

Our Founder Shared Her Insight With Us In Honor Of National Women’s Small Business Month!

October is National Women’s Small Business Month, and we sat down with our founder, Reema Bhatia, to get her insight on what makes a successful business owner.

While speaking with Reema, we were able to learn about what makes Stickboy Creative and Vectra Digital stand out from the rest.

She provided valuable advice to those interested in starting their own business based on her own experience.

Check it out:

What do you want people to know about Stickboy and Vectra?

  • The one thing that I would like people to know about Stickboy and Vectra is the company culture that we have and the spirit of brotherhood and teamsmanship that we have here. I think that when clients work with us they get to experience that and enjoy it, and they become a part of our team. For that reason, we’re still working with clients that we were working with 10 years ago. I think that’s something that is quite unique to us.

What are your biggest accomplishments since starting the business?

  • I think one of the things that are very exciting to the whole team is the concept of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning on the Stickboy side. Also, all of the wonderful things that we’re doing with for Vectra Digital. We’re working with large national franchise chains and I can’t wait to get the word in the community about what Vectra is doing, it’s very exciting.

Have you faced any obstacles as a female entrepreneur?

  • That’s an interesting question. I don’t really know that there were any obstacles that I’ve faced just because I’m female. I think that in hindsight if anything it actually helped because it helped me stand out of the crowd. People want to help and see you succeed so I think that I got a lot of help along the way. If there were any disadvantages to being a female entrepreneur, I didn’t really dwell on it. I think that ignorance is bliss in this case.

Women businesses are growing, how do you keep it fresh and stay ahead of the game?

  • We have a very academic approach to things here. We’re always researching the latest technologies and we’re always investing in them so that when we bring it to our clients we’re already fluent in them. For Vectra, we’re always researching the latest digital strategies out there and we’re always experimenting to see what works and what doesn’t so that our clients can get the best outcome possible.

How do you think company culture impacts a business?

  • I think company culture defines everything about a business from the profit margin to the scalability and life of the business. People are the vein of any company so if you have good people, you’re empowering them and you have a good culture – your company is going to last.

What makes Stickboy and Vectra different?

  • I think our relationships with the clients makes us very unique. The faith that they have in us after working with us is not something that you can get with a lot of vendors and partners that you work with. If we make mistakes like all humans do, we own up to it and we try to correct it the best way that we can.

Stickboy Creative was recently recognized on the 2017 Grow Florida Companies to Watch List. What does that mean to you?

  • I think it makes me feel very proud of the team because it’s a validation of all of the hard work that everyone puts in. I know that our team members are more connected to each other than any other workplace that I’ve seen. It makes me very proud of the network that I’ve built and the support system that we’ve housed. It’s a confirmation that yes, we’re doing something right.

What advice would you give to women who want to become a business owner?

  • Get a mentor that guides you and believes in you even when you don’t believe in yourself. It’s important that the person that you select has been in your position so that you can learn what you should and should not be doing so that you can make the wisest business decisions possible.

Congratulations on your success, Reema!

The future for Stickboy Creative and Vectra Digital is bright, and we can’t wait to make big things happen in the coming months.
